How meaningless to think that wealth brings true happiness! For true happiness comes from God. Enjoy what you have rather than desiring what you don't have.
Commit yourselves wholeheartedly to God’s words, and teach them to your children. Talk about the words of God when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up.
When the righteous live faithfully, the earth will be filled with an awareness of the glory of the Lord. Then we can say, "Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the Lord!"
God says in the Bible that you have a choice between a blessing or a curse! You will be blessed if you obey the words of God, or you will be cursed if you reject them. Life is a choice, and by doing nothing with God's words in your day to day life, you have chosen.
