Satan, the "god of this world," has blinded the eyes of people so that while seeing, they never perceive; otherwise, they might SEE with their eyes and understand with their heart, turn to Jesus Christ and be healed. (Paraphrased from Luke 8:9-10 and Isaiah 6:9-10)
2 Corinthians 4:4 "Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God."
PRAYER, that is rooted in what God says through His Son, and God's Old Testament prophets, is the power for our DAY.
James 5:13-20 "Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. THE PRAYER OF A RIGHTEOUS PERSON IS POWERFUL AND EFFECTIVE.
"Elijah was a human being, even as we are. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.
"My brothers and sisters, if one of you should wander from the TRUTH and someone should bring that person back, remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the ERROR of their way will save them from death and cover over a multitude of sins."
Jesus teaches: "The seeds (of truth about My Kindgom) that fell on the footpath represent those who hear the message, only to have the devil come and take it away from their hearts and prevent them from believing and being saved." Luke 8:12
"The thief (the devil) comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I have come that they may have life, and have it in all its fullness.... I AM" the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep." John 10:10-11
In a time where the "hearing and understanding" of people is under attack, as Satan uses his fully deceived puppets in various ways, we who have come to KNOW and UNDERSTAND - have the privilege and responsibility to PRAY without ceasing and on ALL occassions, and in every season. (Ephesians 6:18)

Romans 8:26 "The Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know how we ought to pray, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groans too deep for words."
Philippians 4:6-7 "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
Colossians 1:3 "We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you."
