UNITY OF THE LORD

The “division in the church” today that is so grievous is because GODLY wisdom is lacking today in the church. You have those who stand on the truth alone. You have those who stand on love alone. But Jesus is both truth and love. He said, “I AM the Truth, the Way and the Life.” Truth AND love are united. Love without truth is mere human affection with any power. Truth without love is annoying and condemning. Balance of love and truth = GOD’s WISDOM. Without the unity of truth AND love (by God’s definition of truth and love) there is no unity anywhere!
